About DNAiTECH

DNAiTECH is shaping the future of intelligent technology — transforming ideas into powerful, practical solutions that make a real impact.
Our mission
Our mission is to deliver point-of-care diagnostics for rapid molecular disease detection and timely treatment. In remote areas with limited diagnostic access, delayed results can worsen patient outcomes and increase disease spread in agriculture. DNAiTECH’s technology enables immediate response, providing results in under one hour.
Our technology

Our technology uses molecular amplification with PCR-level sensitivity and specificity, deployable outside the laboratory through advanced isothermal biochemistry. Our main innovation combines LAMP (loop-mediated amplification) with CRISPR proofreading in an integrated single-step fully sealed diagnostic chip, eliminating contamination risks found in two-step LAMP-CRISPR systems. The chip features eight reaction zones with prepackaged, freeze-dried enzymes and primers. Our stand-alone technology enables accurate, simultaneous screening of multiple biomarkers without additional laboratory infrastructure. CRISPR ensures specificity and produces a clear fluorescence signal, removing the need for costly optical systems. The system includes two compact instruments, the denaturator and Gen3.2 hardware, for sample disruption, nucleic acid isolation, and analysis at the point of care in under 45 minutes. Our portable, low-cost, battery-powered platform supports global adoption, including use in LMIC settings.

Our current R&D program
Our current R&D program develops diagnostic chips for apiculture and the porcine industry. We have also developed tests for Staphylococcus aureus, enabling rapid distinction between MRSA and MSSA. Examples of our diagnostic tests are available here. (link to applications page).
Our working model
Our working model includes collaborative co-development and integrated supply for others' diagnostic interests. We work with customers to turn their diagnostic needs into scalable, market-ready solutions using our proprietary hardware and chip ecosystem. Customers provide diagnostic targets, and DNAiTECH designs, optimises, and validates assays for integration into our platform. For example, we collaborate with Dr Vanessa Adaui at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) in Lima to incorporate LAMP-CRISPR tests for leishmaniasis into our point-of-care chip technology.
